 First, Goto Settings > Developer Options > USB Debugging, to enable USB debugging.

Use ADB To Install

  1. Locate and open the folder where your TWRP.img is saved. 
  2. Press Shift + Right Click on your PC to open a CMD Command on the same folder by clicking on any empty space, finally select Open Command Window Here.
  3. Then, connect your Android device to PC, type the following lines below, into the command window, which enables you to boot your device into bootloader/FastBoot mode.
     adb reboot bootloader

    Click ok to "Allow USB Debugging" If you are asked for permission.
  4. Immediately your device is in bootloader mode, type the following command lines:

    fastboot flash recovery twrp-2.8.x.x-xxx.img
    Note: From the command lines above replace "twrp-2.8.x.x-xxx.img" with the exact name you use in saving the twrp.img on your device.
  5. After successful flashing of TWRP on your device, simply type the following command lines:
     fastboot reboot 
 Next is flashing supersu, which is needed, in other to complete the process of rooting your Android 7.0.1 Nougat device.

 Flashing supersu using TWRP is very easy if your device is supported, just follow the steps below:

  1. Download SuperSu V2.82.zip and save or move it to your phone storage from Sdcard.
